• From the main menu in the Reality Editor, select Edit > Plugins.

  • Under the Graphics category, find the Pixel Streaming Plugin and make sure the Enabled box is checked.

Pixel Streaming plugin is enabled by default, so you may not need to do this setting.

  • Back in Reality editor, choose Edit > Project Settings from the main menu.

  • Under the Reality category > Engine nodes, find the "ZDPixelStreaming Path".

  • The default path for PixelStreaming.exe is C:\Program Files\Zero Density\Reality Engine\4.25\Engine\Source\Programs\PixelStreaming

This defines the default execution path for PixelStreaming.exe which is available on installation of Reality Engine setup, if the folder structure is not as defined in this path, then the server will not run when "Start" function is executed. Ideally this is installed on Reality Engines so Reality Engine output can be streamed to web browser.

ZDPixelStreaming.exe can be found under Reality Engine and Reality Editor installed folder.

Reality Engine path

Reality Editor path

If you want to stream output from Reality Editor (where Reality Engine setup is not installed), then you will need to modify the “ZDPixelStreaming Path“ under the Reality category > Engine nodes. The path for PixelStreaming.exe must be C:\Program Files\Zero Density\Reality Editor\4.25\Engine\Source\Programs\PixelStreaming

This defines the execution path for PixelStreaming.exe which is available on installation of Reality Editor setup, if the folder structure is not as defined in this path, then the server will not run when “Start” function is executed. Ideally this is installed on Reality Editor machines where Reality Engine may or may not be necessarily installed.
